End of the World Scenarios
What does the future hold? Will the World end in 2012? Will the Sun put off solar flares to cook the earth? Will global warming be our demise? What are the Most Bizarre and Glorified End of the World Scenarios?
2012
The doomsday event that will occur on December 21, 2012 is based upon the Mayan Long Count Calender that suggests a string of catastrophic events will end life as we know it. In fact, predictions of imminent disaster are found neither in classic Maya accounts nor in contemporary science. Just got hijacked by a new sign up to leave a comment called Bukisa? I filled it all out and still couldn't get back to leaving a comment. Maybe that is the start of doomsday, everyone's email gets Bukisa'ed and we all become Bukisaists?
Definitely a remarkable article and very well wriiten. For me, I don't believe the theory behind the end of the Mayan calender. It is an odd date though, so close to christmas. It will happen at some point, but I don't believe in our lifetimes. Magnificant article on a popular subject.
@Glenn
What do you mean? Was it a pop up or something?
@Richard
I agree with that notion. I think people tend to take this doomsday talk a bit to literally.
