The American Museum of Natural History in collaboration with the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco; Canadian Museum of Nature, Ottawa, Canada; and Cleveland Museum of Natural History presents Extreme Mammals.
After all of the recent research I've been doing on eveolution and bizarre behaviors of prehistoric and historic animals, I was thrilled to hear about this exhibit. The show is running through January 2010 and includes several displays and activities explaining extinction, the evolution of the animals and what actually happened to them, an extreme 3D experience, as well as many kid oriented fun spots.
