How Healthy is The Meat You Are Consuming?

Several years ago, before I ever owned my restaurants, I worked in a Tuscan Grill that consistently ordered corn fed beef and steaks for their menu. They were top sellers on the menu, however most of my regulars that ordered my specialty steaks were overweight, and in one case, one of the gentlemen actually went in for a triple bypass surgery. He was consuming one 14 ounce strip steak a day.

After I witnessed this, I started looking into alternatives like Natural Meat. I asked my father about it since he was convinced that going Organic was the best way to stay healthy, and I have to agree with him.

With my background, I knew what regular meat could do to your body. Not only does regular red meat have a substantial amount of chemicals and hormones in it, but those hormones can create severe health issues such as:

  • Obesity
  • Blockages in your arteries
  • High blood pressure
Non Organic Meat lingers in your body for up to week, sometimes more, so it has the ability to deplete your body of vitamins and leave a sort of residue in the lining of your body walls.

If you include meat in your daily diet, I strongly urge you to go with organic meats. However, make sure you do your research. Many so called "organic meat companies" will advertise their product as "hormone free". However, for these companies, it means the cattle has not been exposed to chemicals within the last 3-6 months of being slaughtered.
