Exploring Hawaii on Holiday

Picture_2It seems as thought the tropics is a hot topic on the Revolution this week so I'll keep the ball rolling by making all you highly jealous of my upcoming holiday to Hawaii at an amazing Maui Resort called Ka'anapali Resort.

The main reason I choose to stay at this particular location is that my father's best friend and wife have stayed there several times over the years, and she has always urged me to stay there when I finally made it to Hawaii.

The most important aspects of a hotel that I look at when I travel is comfort, surroundings, and dining. Of course, I also like to sneak in a bit of R & R at the local Spa, and "Beauty of Aloha" in Ka'anapali Resort is perfect. In fact, they specialize is so many wonderful wedding services for those Maui Weddings every bride dreams about.

The grounds are an array of tropical foliage and flowers, nestled quaintly on the beach where you will find many exciting activities including water sports, garden tours, and hula lessons-I'm signed up already. lol

After a long day of dining, you can savor some of the local fare by dining at the Tiki Terrace Restaurant which features award-winning cuisine and live music for dancing under the stars.

I remember my dad's friends wife telling me about the food, and I don't think she ever stopped. She has tried to mimic some of the recipes she indulged in while she was there, constantly purchasing Hawaiian cookbooks for assistance, however she missed the real thing.

Up until now, she and her husband have been planning their trip back to the Ka'anapali Resort, and I believe they are going at the end of the summer. Of course there will be three more people in their party this year including myself, my fiance, and my dad. I can't wait!
