Drop the Bank and Start Banking Online

Over the past couple of years, actually probably more than that, I have been using an online service for all of my banking needs, without the hassle of NSF or Balance fees.
For me, this was a personal choice, and a very important one. I have probably banked at every institution that there is, but I was still not satisfied with the service I was receiving. I decided to close all of my bank accounts, and look for an alternative.
I mean, come on, it's the 21st century, not everyone uses bank branches anymore. In fact, I feel as though banking online is much more secure, at least that's my opinion.
Now a days, I use a Visa Debit card to make all of my purchases. I transfer money from my school loans onto the card itself, along with payments I receive for some freelance work.
Mind you, I have had this card for several years, so I understand the benefits of having access to my account 24 hours a day, with balance information and much more.
I have never had any issues with overdrafts or hidden fees because I know what's on my card at all times. It's never been so easy. If you have a chance, and I urge you to do so, I would look into a Visa Debit card today.
