Is There a Monopoly in the Making?

Education in social studies always brought out the benefits of competition. The facts seemed to support that companies that had others vying for customers was healthy all around.

We now see fewer airlines, so the prices are higher for most flights than we would like to pay. Those bankrupt aircraft companies tried many methods before succumbing to the ill fated demise of travel options for the public. When the straw that broke the camels back arrived, the airlines ended the service they rendered.

Each of the companies such as Levi Strauss, and many others too numerous to list, saw the writing on the wall, they stopped selling in this country. Little by little some of the biggest named stores are closing their doors and calling it an end to business as usual. Furniture stores to car makers, even food suppliers have gone else where to call home. Is There a Monopoly in the Making? Continued
