Spotlight on Writer: Darren Goad

I had the pleasure of stumbling upon Darren Goad on Triond a few months ago and I am so glad I did. When I initially read a section from his series "The Village", I was engulfed and enthralled with his genius and innovative style.

The High Street was the only thoroughfare
that could actually be called a "Street".
Any other mode of traveling
from one place to another
was just a lane or way or road
or mews or passage or court or close.

But Street held that special connotation
